Je suis fatigue/Estoy cansada/Tsukaremashita

And when I'm tired, I either:
1. Ramble unclearly
2. Stop talking
3. Talk really loudly and a lot without thinking, or
4. Giggle pretty much incessantly about nothing.

I admit, I act as if I've had 3 drinks too many minus the blush (not like I know what it's like anyway).
It's not so attractive.

I get to sleep in tomorrow [big grin].

I Am... Need For Speed

I'm home! Today my 3 year old cousin Kyle decided to give my hotel room a wakeup call at 7:40AM. Packed + waited at the dock until they opened at 10. I got to go sea-dooing today! I went with my mom and I expected to drive except I needed a driver's license and mine expired last month! Darnnnn butchea - we had 1 hour so we went around at about 45-55 mph which doesn't seem too fast (def. not fast enough for me) but of course moms have to be all cautious and all... took me a lot of effort to get her to go faster than 40! It was exhilaratingly fun though - especially going against the waves at 55. Then my mom grabbed a bite and everyone went to visit a corn farm in Chilliwack. 2 cases of corn and a case of blueberries later, we head to my Uncle Albert's house and played with the kids + then went out for dinner. I had no expectations for this trip but it turned out to be good + relaxing enough for the big busy work push before school starts!

Tomorrow I have 2 shifts for work + have to go up to SFU to authorize some courses for Korea...

Schedule for the next week:

14 - SFU/Work x2
15 - Work/Nad
16 - Clean/Party
17 - Exercise/Work
18 - States shopping
19 - Work/Sleepover
20 - Work

Ah! I gotta find Alexander Wang and BCBG Max Azria's coverage for Fashion Week! Excitementtttt

"Tasha, I'm Having So Much Fun!!"

So my mom brought the wrong contact solution for my contact case and my eyes got solution-burned this morning so I couldn't go on the water outing today... tomorrow though! Instead, me, my mom, and my Auntie Eliza's family went on Blaster Boats! They're like inflatable inner tubes xept the have a base and a chair + it's motorized and you can spray ppl! They're like bumper boats. Anyway, I went with Erin and we both had so much fun going around [zip zip] and spraying our parents and other helpless little kids in other boats [snicker snicker].

Then we came back went for lunch at the Lakeside Cafe + then went to the beach across the street to build sandcastles. The kids were pretty darn good at it - very relaxing for us while they played. Tea time again. Was tired -- need more caffeine even though I had an iced latte + an iced tea already (doesn't seem to be working). Swam in the hot springs again + I taught Erin how to swim! She can do somersaults and push off the side to get to me in the middle of the pool and she can do the breast stroke kick now. She hasn't started swimming lessons yet. Spent a little over 5 min in the steam room by myself. Nice. Shower and then buffet dinner. Saw a student from Tyee, Caroline Sawyer (remember her, Nad?) She was with her family. Her dad works in the same office as my mom. I remember her being very small, short, and thin and having really fine, wispy and wavy platinum blonde hair. Now, she's none of that.

Everyone is in bed now b/c tmr we're gonna do more water stuff, swim more and go to my Uncle's friend's corn farm in Chilliwack.

My bangs are so weird -- I can't even straighten them properly! They grew so fast.

Big Bang sans DaeSung @ a fan meeting.
I'm a bit behind with Big Bang's MVs. Here's an Eng. Subbed version of their song Haru Haru (the name of my post a couple posts ago) from their new 3rd Mini Album, Stand Up. Their MVs are always quality. Ah they're such a great group.
**
And here's Big Bang's new MV - OH MY FRIEND.
I think this song has more of a poprock feel to it than their usual hiphoppop songs. Quite different eh? Gdragon can pull off so many different looks! I think he's such a star.
**

This one's not a MV, but I like the song (also from their new mini album): Heaven

Forever 21 Lusts (I hope to find on Monday!)
Brushstroke Satin Top [$22.80]
Xept I notice that the bottom is a bit weird -- I don't know how it is...
Subdued Skinny Belt [$6.80]
Multi-Chain Necklace [$6.80]
I'm finally starting to wear accessories much more often... after going through 2 years of jewelry hiatus haha
Annette Chiffon Floral Dress [$22.80]
Can also be worn off the shoulder.

Belted Ruffle Front Dress [$46]
This one isn't from F21, but from their Twelve By Twelve line.
Unforch, not something that would look good on me, but I like looking at it.
They have a silver version that's not as closed in on the neck and not banded at the bottom HERE.
Whenever I go down to the States, the only 3 or 4 places I look forward to visiting are:
1. Forever 21
2. A&F (hoping to pick one of these up)
3. Sephora
4. Nordstroms
This time I'm also hoping to get some underwear from Victoria's Secret.

I guess I should try to hit up some outlets again one day... BCBG is calling my name.

Eeee can't wait for Gossip Girl Season 2! It'll probably be the only TV I will watch this Fall.

Zza Zza

I'm watching China and Japan on TV right now competing for high-bar. Wow! China is such an amazingly strong team! I'm so proud!! Aw they're crying -- they totally deserved this Gold!

I'm in some sort of Harrison Hotspring hotel right now. It's nice -- there's 3 outdoor hot spring pools and 2 indoor ones. Our hotel is right across from the beach and the famous sand sculpture competition. We checked out the water sports too - gonna do something exhilarating tomorrow morning! Can't wait!
Had fish and chips while waiting for family... My Auntie Eliza + family + g-rents finally arrived and then we had afternoon tea in the lounge (I love tea! And cranberry loaf! And cookies!). Then we took a quick dip in the hot springs - Nice day -- not too hot, not too cool. Then we got changed and went to The Copper Room which is this ritzy dress-code restaurant (thank goodness I threw a dress into my bag last minute!) full of older people and live music - Jazz! The singer was really good and he sang all songs I knew -- Build Me Up Buttercup, some Neil Diamond, some Michael Buble, Wonderful World, etc. There's a lit-up dance floor for adults and a separate, mini dance floor for kids (which was cute). Dinner was great -- I had some pear, blue cheese, and pistachio salad + the lamb dish. haha Erin didn't like the smell of the cheese so she's like "Tasha, can you eat your salad quick?"
Afterwards, my g-pa and I checked out their games and exercise rooms. Zzzz time for bed almost.

Haru Haru

Another exhausted hippo - the type of tired that has no patience and just says whatever without thinking - can't spit out sentences properly. Work is consuming my life but it's great I can get a lot of hours in before school starts. Yesterday's hosting for me went pretty well - no angry customers whew, but I just feel so bad for not being able to seat customers when they arrive! I wish I could tear down Shoppers and just expand the restaurant and then the problem would be solved. OH I got to eat after my shift! First time -- good stuff! Felt like a little Miss Piggy having a whole pot to myself with everything spread out beside me haha. There's so much variety and it's pretty darn healthy too (love white yam + pumpkin!).

OH at the restaurant, there were 2 ladies - one was Asian (I think either Japanese or Chinese), and one looked mixed, and with them were 3 of their children (what it seemed) = 2 African American and one really loud and outgoing Chinese/Japanese girl (like when she came in, her eyes opened really wide when she saw me coming towards them and waved her arm at me with a big smile and said "HI!! MY NAME IS ___ AND THIS IS __ AND ___ (introducing everyone)". And then she goes on to tell me her age (6) and what her favourite things to do were.) Anyway, the interesting part is how they all understood Japanese. The "parents" spoke to each other in fluent Japanese and spoke to their children in Japanese and their children replied in perfect English. The parents could speak English perfectly too but it was totally unexpected and very neat.

Walked downtown for a bit after.

I want the McDonalds Beijing Olympics Panda cup! Is it out yet? Someone pick it up for me if you happen to see it and I'll pay you back! I'm afraid it will sell out.
